Affordable Preschool Program

Having the mothers and single parents desiring to work in mind, the Founder of the Springs of Living Water Foundation, Victoria L. Almosara established and formalized the Faith, Hope & Love Child Care & Learning Center. It aimed to provide a safe and nurturing place for children of mothers who have been trained under the Job Enhancement Training Programs. See more...

Start-up capital for the Preschool was provided by the Atherton Foundation, Samuel N. & Mary Castle Foundation and the Bank of Hawaii. The Preschool was duly licensed by the Department of Human Services, the Department of Health and the City and County of Honolulu on March 24, 2002, to operate and admit 45 children ages between 2 and 6 years old.

The School Philosophy & Program Goals

The Child Care & Learning Center was established with the premise that each child is unique and special, regardless of race, color, nationality, religion or ethnic origin and deserves a warm and caring environment in which to learn. Together with the home our common goal is to build a strong foundation for each child’s future. Through our Christian values, good example, dedication and love for each child, we hope to have a positive impact on their attitude toward learning and life. Our goal is to enhance the development of readiness skills through our learning materials in an enriched learning environment, promote family involvement through program activities, and encourage the development of creativity; all of which help build a successful foundation for early learning.

Vision: To provide a safe, comforting, and nurturing place for children who desperately need a loving, caring, and secure home atmosphere.

Missions: Our mission is to rescue the displaced and abandoned children and restore their childhood and life back to normal. We commit to building an authentic family atmosphere for them where they would continue to be nurtured in the loving atmosphere of a home. We provide them with a safe and empowering environment in which their lives will be transformed through education, practical training and life skills to prepare them for self-pride and self-sustainability. Most importantly, we need to look after them, love them, and bring them to the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and provide them a chance to realize a better and more successful tomorrow.
