Aloha!

Thank God for keeping us all safe under His loving protection and generous provision so that we can survive amidst this Covid-19 pandemic crisis for over 2 years now!

And this mid-year of 2022, I am confident and have that faith that with God’s help, favor and provision we can again live our normal lives and continue to move on towards what He had planned and purposed us to do and accomplish.

Twenty-seven years ago, 13 women started and organized themselves under the Ministry on Missions and Social Concerns of the Brethren of Christ International to make a difference in people’s lives and contribute to the well-being of the communities as well. It started in Ewa Beach, Hawaii in 1995 and expanded to Waipahu, Hawaii in 1999. These 13 women pooled their resources together through membership fees and individual contributions. They also solicited in-kind donations from kind-hearted individuals in the community and members of the Brethren of Christ International church.

Out of this initiative, a Food Pantry Project was set in place, distributing food and clothing to the needy families, the newly arrived immigrants, and the elderly and the homeless in Oahu’s Leeward area.

As of today, the year 2022 we are proud to say that because of the initiative of the 13 women the Springs of Living Water was birthed, which now has become a Foundation, a faith-based, non-profit organization that is providing services, training and programs that help enhance and sustain the stability of individuals and families and become self-sufficient and able to contribute to the economic development of the community.

As you browse through the programs and services of our new website, I am sure you will be amazed at how the initiative of the 13 women has grown and expanded into various projects and programs that have made an impact in different communities not only here in Hawaii but had also extended to the less fortunate individuals & needy families & communities in the Philippines, especially to the orphans and abandoned children.

Like the 13 women, you can also make a difference in the lives of others who are in need! This year 2022 is a new beginning for us! Let us join hands and support and strengthen one another. You may initiate and start your own small but worthwhile community project, or you can partner with us for the expansion of our existing projects and programs here in Hawaii and in the Philippines!

Mahalo and God bless you for your support!
